Congrats to Logan Giesking for being the first NICL Super-meet conference champion in GR history with a jump of 6-1. 1600 medley of Austin, Will, Hudson, and Caleb finished 5th place as well.

A reminder that a week from today, May 12th, is when the elementary field day will take place. Grades K-2 will go from 9:30AM to approximately 11:30AM. Grades 3-6 will go from 12:30PM to approximately 2:30PM.
It is a mini track meet as there will be both running and field events that students will be participating in.
Students should have athletic shoes to wear for field day as they will be running and jumping.
We will have plenty of help as there will be high school students volunteering with field day. Parents that are attending are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to sit on to support and cheer on the elementary students.

The Rebel boys golf team is at Pheasant Ridge in Cedar Falls today for the NICL Conference golf meet. The meet is currently ongoing
The girls team will have their conference golf meet next Monday. Details will be shared Monday morning.

G-R Athletes continue to work to get better and choose to get started 4 days a week at 6:02 AM! A total of 80 athletes use the weight room each week!. Thanks to Mr Fisher and his students in school as they renovate the weight room to make more room for our kids. #rebelnation

Today the third-grade students attend Agriculture Safety Day at the Grundy County Fairgrounds. The students learned about sun safety, blind spots, grain safety, electrical safety, fire safety, outdoor safety, stranger danger, lawn mower safety, and a few other topics.

Today the fifth grade class experienced an outdoor classroom at Union Grove State Park! While there they participated in a recycling relay, learned about fishing and boat safety, reptiles, soils, forestry, and created seed balls. #rebelnation #rebelsrising
