A couple of weeks ago Mrs. Schuman's class had a couple of awesome fine arts high school students come and talk to us about being caring and curious. This week we had Dale Wambold come to our class and tell us the benefits of having teamwork and trust in our community and to use your own strengths to help where you can to keep a community successful! #rebelsrising

Rebel Elementary PE
We have our 2nd and final 6th grade pickleball champion! This time it was from Mrs. Wrage's class. Laken Thesing is the class champ.
Dealing with a bit of a thumb injury suffered during recess, Laken punched his ticket into the championship match where things would get a bit interesting. He would lose the first match, 7-4. This set up a true winner take all deciding match. Laken regrouped to score a 7-1 win and secure the title.

Senior Megan Cooley took the basketball court one last time this weekend to play in the 1A Senior All-Stars game. Megan was selected as one of the top senior players in 1A this year and competed in an exhibition game against other seniors from around the state. Congratulations!

Due to the impending weather GR schools will be dismissing at 2:00 today, March 31st. All evening activities are cancelled.

Good meet for the boys, Logan Giesking finished 2nd in high jump. The sprint medley, distance medley, and Hudson Clark all scored points in the meet.
G-R girls track absolutely crushed their first meet! Brant got 1st place in high jump AND jumped her new record 5'2! Sieh got 2nd place in long jump and Resendez got 8th! Both relays placed 3rd and 4th! The fantastic four crushing it!

G-R Elementary PE
Rebel Nation,
We have our 6th grade pickleball champion from Mrs. Welter's class. Karina Arvizu-Ersland took the title in a classic championship battle. Needing to win two matches, she took the first one, 7-5.
It all came down to a final match and one deciding point. She scored the final point in a back and forth tussle to get a 7-6 win and claim the title.
A great environment this morning and a big congratulations to Karina!
