Rebel Nation,
The GR Rebel boys basketball will be playing in the district final next Tuesday, February 25th. This game is in Dike at Dike-New Hartford high school.
The start time is now at 5:30 PM. This is due to DNH hosting a doubleheader as Denver/Union will be following our game against Dunkerton.
Please make sure to note the change and the earlier start time. Tickets are $6 plus fees. Doors will not open for admission into the gym until 4:30 PM. Let's pack the gym full of Rebel Nation!

Clearing Up the Confusion: Understanding School Funding
I’ve seen some questions and concerns circulating about school funding, particularly around PPEL, voted PPEL, and the income surtax. I truly believe that those sharing this information are doing so with good intentions, but school finance can be complex, and sometimes key details get lost in the mix.
To ensure our community has accurate information, I want to share a message from our financial advisor that breaks down these funding sources and how they impact our district. My goal is to provide clarity, not to discredit anyone—because when we all have the right information, we can make informed decisions together.
Check out the explanation below, and as always, feel free to reach out with any questions!
We will also be having a couple of informational meetings in the next week:
Friday, February 21st at 5:30 in the JH/HS Library
Monday, February 24th at 5:30 in the JH/HS Library
Monday, February 24th at 7:00 at the Gladbrook Theater
As always, if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
