Clark floats a pass and hits Caleb Egesdal in stride on a go route for a 36-yard score. 2pt is no good. Rebels lead the Vikings 48-0 with 4:20 left in the 2nd. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

It’s a Clark to Clark connection as Isaac hits Hudson on a quick pass. Hudson makes a couple of nifty cuts to his left and out-runs the defense for a 45-yard score. 2pt is good and the Rebels lead 42-0 with 11:43 left in the 2nd. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

My apologies as a score was missed. Luke Riffey intercepts a pass and returns it deep into Viking territory. First play, Isaac Clark keeps it around the right side for a 4-yard TD run. 2pt is no good. Rebels lead 34-0 with 45 seconds left in the 1st. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

Clark calls his own number and behind a wall of great blocking around the left side scores on a 3-yard TD run. 2pt is good and Rebels lead 20 with 5:14 left in 1st. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

First play of scrimmage for the Vikings ends with a turnover as Drew Eilers comes up with a fumble recovery. Three plays later Eilers is on the receiving end of a Clark 10-yard TD pass. 2 pt is no good. Rebels lead 12-0 with 9:02 left in 1st. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

Hudson Clark begins the game with a 55-yard KO return into Viking territory. A few plays later, Isaac Clark plunges into the end zone on a QB keep up the middle. 2pt is no good and the Rebels take an early 6-0 lead with 10:01 left in the 1st. #rebelnation #rebelsrising

Third grade has started our mystery unit for reading and writing. One of the fun things we do to go along with this unit is have Mystery Readers. Each day we post a clue about our mystery reader. At the of the week the reader comes to read us a mystery book. It is so much for to see the kids excited each morning for the new clue and talk about who they think it might be. Thank you to Mrs. Shutt for being a mystery reader this week! #rebelsrising #rebelnation

Thursday night football!! Information for Rebel fans attending tomorrow night’s game: We will be playing on Wartburg’s campus at Walston-Hoover Stadium on Thursday Sept. 28th. Kickoff is set for 7PM. We are the home team while Northwood-Kensett is the visiting team. The spots circled are parking lots on the west and NW side of the stadium right off of 12th street. Not sure about B-lot and C-lot as you might need a parking permit from Wartburg to park in those lots. The ticket booth is also on the west side as you walk up to the stadium and the Rebel fans will be sitting on the west side. Looking forward to seeing a big crowd tomorrow night. Go Rebels! #rebelnation #rebelsrising

It's always smart to use produce when it's in season and it's even better when the apples are donated! Foods students are making apple crisp, carmel apple sundae sauce, and applesauce.

The next GR FFA student chapter meeting is next week. That means it is time to help out with the student meal! The chapter meetings are changing to before school so we are going to be serving them breakfast! Please consider helping out with this meal or a future one! This is a great way to support GR students and the FFA program! Remember you do not have to have a child in FFA to help out with this! # rebelsrising #rebelnation https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D4CA5AF29AAFA7-grffachapter
