Good meet for the boys, Logan Giesking finished 2nd in high jump. The sprint medley, distance medley, and Hudson Clark all scored points in the meet.
G-R girls track absolutely crushed their first meet! Brant got 1st place in high jump AND jumped her new record 5'2! Sieh got 2nd place in long jump and Resendez got 8th! Both relays placed 3rd and 4th! The fantastic four crushing it!

We have our 6th grade pickleball champion from Mrs. Welter's class. Karina Arvizu-Ersland took the title in a classic championship battle. Needing to win two matches, she took the first one, 7-5.
It all came down to a final match and one deciding point. She scored the final point in a back and forth tussle to get a 7-6 win and claim the title.
A great environment this morning and a big congratulations to Karina!

Mrs. Welter's 6th grade crew got their pickleball singles tournament underway this morning. We had some great matches and fantastic finishes.
There's some work to do on the consolation side, so we don't have a semifinal match set for that part of the bracket yet.
However, we do have a semifinal matchup on the championship side, and it'll be Brayton Dripps vs Reese Schneider.
Remember, this is true double- elimination, so someone on the consolation side can work their way back and win the whole thing. We'll crown a champion tomorrow!

Our 6th grade 2023 singles pickleball tournament got underway this morning for Mrs. Wrage's class. There were some great matches that were decided on the last point. This is a double-elimination tournament.
On the championship side in the semifinals it is Laken Thesing vs Malakai Lancaster.
On the consolation side in the semifinals trying to work their way back it is Tommy Farley vs Amya Blohm.
Matches will resume next Monday, April 3rd, where we will crown our champion!
Mrs. Welter's class will begin their tournament tomorrow morning bright and early at 8:30! Best of luck to all competitors!
