Life Skills class had our final guest speaker this week. Dennis Evans spoke to the class about planning for retirement and investing. H is for hedgehogs, and the TK class made some pretty amazing hedgehogs!

Thank you to all of you who are a book sponsor of Mrs. Fleshner's third-grade classroom. The kids each picked out a book from the book order that they wanted. Their new books came today. They were so excited! Thank you again to those of you who donated money to make this happen. We will do this again two more times this year!

State Cheerleading Championships are THIS Saturday, November 1st, in Des Moines! 💙🎀💙 Hope to have a BIG crowd cheering us on!

Last week, we had Ag in the Classroom for the third-grade students. We compared pumpkins to apples. We also used our senses to do an activity with red and green apples. Shari also brought us pumpkin pie in a bag to try! Thank you to Shari and Grundy County Farm Bureau for making this learning experience happen for our students!

We were busy in TK today! We weighed our pumpkins, worked as partners to decide what the face of our pumpkin should look like, and carved our pumpkin. I think it turned out pretty great!

As we were learning about the letter Gg, the TK students each had a chance to show off their musical talent by playing the guitar!

ONE week from today these athletes will be at the State Cheer Championships in Des Moines! If you were at last night's game you got a sneak peak of our routine. They have been working hard and will be putting in the work this week practicing every chance we get. #makeroominthecase
