Good Afternoon Rebels!
I want to extend an invitation to attend, in person or via live stream, our public hearing on the funding for Phase 1 of our Facility Improvement Plan at 6:30 PM tonight in the Secondary Building's Commons Area (this is air conditioned) . The link to view will be posted later on the district Facebook page, and a video of the public meeting will be shared on the District Facility Information Website linked below.
Tonight's meeting will provide information about the District's Long-Term Facility Improvement Plan and how we intend to fund the various phases, including Phase 1. Phase 1 involves a complete remodel and upgrade of the elementary building, with an addition to address the growing needs of the district and the students we serve. We can achieve this using SAVE funding that we have on hand and can borrow against. By utilizing SAVE funding, this phase of the Facility Improvement Plan would not cost taxpayers any additional taxes. Information on this has been and will continue to be shared.

Final day of ⛳️ camp ended with a tournament. We more than appreciate the generosity from Oak Leaf Country Club for allowing us to hold camp there this week. Another thank you to Golf Headquarters for donating towels for prizes for the winners. My favorite quote from today "my golf game is a lot better than it was at the beginning of the week" 💙💙

HS baseball update Due to field conditions, tonight's JV/V games vs Oelwein have been postponed. There is not currently a make up date. When that is finalized, there will be an update.
We needed to make a decision now to take into account the travel for our opponent and to inform them.
The baseball infield has a considerable amount of soft spots with water and we didn't want player safety to be compromised.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night for Parents' Night as we host AGWSR for JV/V starting at 5PM. Pack the stands!
