Yesterday, the first rotation of 7th grade exploratory got to experience a financial budgeting simulation. A big thank you to Jenny Hulme from the Tama County Extention Office for coming and giving the students this budgeting practice.

The third-grade students have been working on reading and writing nonfiction. Each student picked a topic and created a nonfiction book. Their books included an introduction, a table of contents, at least three chapters, a glossary, and an about the author page. We shared our books this week with the first-grade students. We enjoy sharing our writing in different ways each month.
