Dear Parents and Community Members,
To enhance clarity on our school transportation during varying weather conditions, please note the following important updates:
Hard Surface Only Roads: When we announce 'hard surface only' roads for specific dates, please understand that this is strictly valid until the specified date. After this date, the decision expires, and we revert to making fresh, day-to-day transportation decisions.
Day-to-Day Decision Making: Weather-related transportation decisions will continue to be made daily. We request you to stay updated through our regular announcements via text messaging, email, facebook, Instagram, the app, and email. We will also work to get announcements on to our local news stations.
Timely Notifications: My commitment remains to notify you of any delays, cancellations, or route changes by 6:00 AM, and by 8:00 AM for any delay extensions.
Advance Announcements: In cases of severe weather predictions, we aim to communicate decisions by the preceding evening if we have enough information available then.
Morning Queries and Alternate Arrangements: If you have questions on the morning of a route, please feel free to contact your child's bus driver. Additionally, if you foresee difficulty in bus access to your regular pickup location and can arrange an alternate pickup point, kindly inform the driver beforehand for route planning.
Your active participation and understanding in these processes are crucial for the safety and timely management of our school transportation. We appreciate your continued support.
Stay safe and have a GReat one!
