Due to ongoing inclement weather, school will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, 2024. After driving tonight and assessing the situation, including road conditions and weather forecasts, the decision prioritizes the safety of our students and staff.
Key Points:
- Road plows ceased operations at 6:00 PM today and will resume around 4:30-5:00 AM tomorrow.
- Road conditions, especially in the southern part of our district, are deteriorating due to drifting snow.
- Winds are expected to worsen, impacting travel safety.
Important Reminder:
- Tomorrow will serve as the final Professional Development (PD) day for staff.
- Future full-day closures due to weather will transition to Virtual Learning Days.
