Last week we shared our mystery stories that we wrote with each other. This was the ending of our mystery unit for reading and writing. We read our stories to each other in front of a "campfire" and enjoyed a s'mores snack mix. The kids enjoyed hearing all the stories.

The game will start at 1PM vs Bedford.
You can watch a video live stream that's provided by the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN) - There is a cost of $9.99 plus tax to watch the video livestream - You will also need to create an account on the IHSSN website. That part is free to do - The link is below:

- After you enter the promo code and click go, the next page will show the semifinals for 8-player and you will need to click find tickets
- Enter how many tickets you need to click add to cart
- Once you hit checkout, you will need to create an account so that your online ticket has a place to be stored. Ordering online means you can skip the line at the dome and not have to buy tickets there. You will need to have your phone ready to have your ticket scanned at the gate or can print the QR code off.
- You can always buy your ticket once you get inside the UNI-Dome, as that is another option

🏈Football🏈 Cheer spent some time bringing back an "old school" tradition this week. They put their artistic 🎨 abilities to the test and made some posters.
Thank you to Mrs. Nelson for a space to paint and also the supplies to help bring back this tradition.

In addition to the LSB Tree Walk the GladbrookReinbeck High School will also be sponsoring the Rebel Giving Tree at the soup supper. We are asking for donations of mittens, hats, scarves, and headbands which can be placed on the tree. We will also have a box available if anyone would like to donate winter coats, snow pants, or boots.
All donated items will be used for our Holiday Giving Projects and will go to families within our school district. (More details to follow on various projects.) The tree will also be available to be used in our other communities for their holiday celebrations.
Any donations not distributed within our holiday projects will be donated to churches for them to distribute during the holiday season.
Yesterday the third grade students enjoyed a visit from Water Rocks! This is a program that comes around to school to help teach kids about the environment and conservation. We learned about watersheds and pollution.
