Today was Ag in the Classroom for third grade. This month we learned about sheep. We made a bookmark with wool and also got to pet the real lamb that came to visit. The students always look forward to Ag in the Classroom each month. Thank you to these ladies for coming each month to teach us. Also thank you to Farm Bureau for making this program possible! #rebelsrising #rebelnation

Gladbrook-Reinbeck parents and community, As I am sure many of you know, the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Boys Basketball team has qualified for the state tournament. The Rebels will take on Remsen, St. Mary’s on Monday, March 6 at 3:45 PM at Wells Fargo Arena. To allow all Rebel fans to attend, we have made the following adjustments for the Week of March 6: 12:00 PM Dismissal on Monday, March 6. Elementary conferences scheduled Monday, March 6 have been moved to Tuesday, March 7. This will be a 1:15 PM dismissal for both buildings. Conferences will occur on the same schedule, so please contact the elementary office if you need to change a time for Tuesday or change your conference time on Sign Up Genius. To review, change, or sign up for conferences, please click on this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_ewQR9skaEU3Ih2An9Rox5b9pOS4Msqcie7gR7Eb2AM/edit. The second round game is scheduled for 7:15 PM on Wednesday, March 8, so we will not have a schedule change for Wednesday. The championship game is scheduled for Friday, March 10 at 1:00 PM. In the event we are playing in the championship game, we would not have school on Friday. If that occurs, we will share a separate notification on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. We will also hold a community celebration on Sunday, March 5 at 3:30 in the high school gym. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make these changes to allow everyone the opportunity to cheer on the Rebels!
