2023 JH BB Champs. After the win today these 6 kids advance to next weeks showdown vs the teachers. This game is the 22nd edition which started in 2001. The game will be held on Fri, Feb 17th at 1:30. It will also include an elementary showcase of our younger kids. #rebelnation
Yesterday, the Ag Ed class had FFA State Officers visit the classroom. They led students through workshops focusing on first impressions, communication, leadership and telling their story in Ag Ed/FFA!

Congratulations to GR Rebel, Caleb Egesdal, who was awarded Academic All-State for his hard work in the classroom and on the court. Saturday Night some of the Rebel Football team have a quick snack after helping at the Grundy Center Community Center serving food as a thank you for those who work at the Grundy County Hospital. We also had other Rebels volunteer their time afterwords cleaning up! #rebelnation

Congratulations to the Rebel girls basketball team on a great finish to the regular season. The postseason begins this week and our girls get to host their first round game in Class 1A Region 1!
The Rebels will host Janesville this Thursday, February 9th at 7PM. Tickets must be purchased online as cash will not be accepted. The link for purchasing tickets to the game is attached to this post.
Tickets will be $6 plus additional processing fees. They are on sale as of 8AM this morning.

Rebel Nation,
The Rebel boys basketball team was unable to have their JV/V games at North Mahaska rescheduled. We have now picked up Alburnett on the schedule to replace our missed game, and that will allow us to get our 21st regular season game in.
We will travel to Alburnett this Friday, February 10th for JV/V boys only games. JV will start at 5:30 with the varsity slated to start at 7.

In their first tourney of the season, this 8th grade group took first at the North Tama AAU volleyball tournament today. Their win today qualifies them for the AAU state tournament. Congratulations 8th graders!
