Seventh grade students tackled the maze today with our new ActivityBots. All students made it to at least the B grade which is A-Mazing! Thanks to the Grundy County Foundation for the grant that purchased these new and improved robots. #rebelnation #rebelsrising
This morning the third-grade classes walked to the Reinbeck public library to learn about the summer reading program. A note is coming home about all the cool things happening at the library this summer. This would be a great way to encourage your kids to read over the summer! If you can't attend the Reinbeck library programs, be sure to check out a library closer to you.

Kennedy Brant finishes with a time of 1:00.34. This was a timed final and she finishes in 11th place.
An outstanding day for Kennedy as she'll finish up tomorrow with the high jump at 11:30AM.

Kennedy Brant finishes with a time of 13.57 seconds in the 100M. She will not qualify for the finals, but will finish in 24th place at the State meet.
Kennedy will also have the open 400M coming up at 1:20PM today.

Elementary Field Day - Friday May 19th
Tomorrow will finally be the day our elementary field day. Some reminders for the students are:
1. Make sure to have tennis shoes to wear
2. Bring a water bottle
3. Morning session could be a little chilly for K-2, so a sweatshirt might be needed but not required.
The grass may be a bit wet for the morning session, but other than that we should be ready to go.
Grades K-2 will start at 9:30AM until approximately 11:30AM.
Grades 3,5, and 6 will start at 12:30PM until approximately 2:30PM. 4th grade will not be there due to a field trip. A quick decision was made during the day last Friday and they actually completed their field day last Friday afternoon. They did a great job!
Parents are encouraged to bring blankets and/or chairs to sit on and cheer on the participants.
