8-Player State Playoffs - Quarterfinals
The window for purchasing tickets for Thursday night’s game at Newell-Fonda will go on sale tomorrow morning (Nov. 1st) at 9AM.
Tickets must be purchased online. The link is attached below and here's how to get to the correct ticket page.
1. Click the link and it will take you to the IHSAA postseason ticket page.
2. Scroll down and click football underneath where it says 'select sport below'
3. Scroll down and click 8-player underneath the heading 'select class below'
4. Scroll down until you see 'quarterfinal round football playoffs at Newell-Fonda'
5. Click 'get tickets'
6. Enter how many you need in the quantity box and select checkout
7. A QR code will be provided for you that will be scanned at the game on Friday
*Reminder, you won’t be able to purchase tickets until 9AM tomorrow morning.

1A State Volleyball - Quarterfinals
Xtream Arena in Coralville will be the site for state volleyball. The GR Rebels will tangle with the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders. First serve it set for 8PM. The following link will take you to the state tournament dashboard and has everything info from tickets, parking, brackets, streaming, etc.

2. At the top there are 5 boxes and the bottom one says ‘2022 state volleyball tickets’ - click that box
3. The next page will have 4 days worth of ticket selections. Click on ‘find tickets’ for day 2.
4. Enter how many you need, add to cart, and checkout.

Rebel Nation has a busy week ahead for volleyball and football.
Volleyball heads southeast on Tuesday to the state tournament and will take on Holy Trinity Catholic in the quarterfinals at 8PM at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
Football will head west on Thursday to take on Newell-Fonda in an 8-player quarterfinal matchup. Kickoff is at 7PM.
More information will be posted about tickets, event streaming, etc.

TUESDAY 1:15- Let’s send our girls off to STATE Volleyball > Community/School Send off from JH/HS at 1:15 with any community members that can join the students and meet out front of school to send off girls as they load the bus. After the send off they will swing over to the elementary and then depart around 1:30 and take the following drive:
**The route the bus will take--Leave Elementary and take Cedar towards JH/HS, then a right on Blackhawk Street, Take a right on Main Street, Take a Left on Broad Street, and then head East out of town to Coraville/Iowa City. #rebelnation

Survive and advance! The GR Rebels go on the road and defeat the Turkey Valley Trojans, 30-28. The Rebels showed a lot of heart, grit, and they didn’t quit.
We advance to the quarterfinals next Thursday Nov. 3rd and will travel to Newell-Fonda. Kickoff will be at 7PM.
