Information for Rebel fans attending tomorrow night’s game:
We will be playing on Wartburg’s campus at Walston-Hoover Stadium on Thursday Sept. 28th. Kickoff is set for 7PM.
We are the home team while Northwood-Kensett is the visiting team.
The spots circled are parking lots on the west and NW side of the stadium right off of 12th street. Not sure about B-lot and C-lot as you might need a parking permit from Wartburg to park in those lots.
The ticket booth is also on the west side as you walk up to the stadium and the Rebel fans will be sitting on the west side.
Looking forward to seeing a big crowd tomorrow night. Go Rebels!

It's always smart to use produce when it's in season and it's even better when the apples are donated! Foods students are making apple crisp, carmel apple sundae sauce, and applesauce.
JV girls finished 6th, JV boys finished 10th at Jesup.
The next GR FFA student chapter meeting is next week. That means it is time to help out with the student meal! The chapter meetings are changing to before school so we are going to be serving them breakfast! Please consider helping out with this meal or a future one! This is a great way to support GR students and the FFA program! Remember you do not have to have a child in FFA to help out with this!

Varsity boys finished 3rd and Varsity girls finished 9th at Jesup.
JH girls finished 4th, JH boys 12th.
At the NICL Conference Volleyball Tournament on October 4 and 6, all teams will participate in a fundraiser to support Lisa Brinkmeyer. Lisa, the volleyball administrator at @IGHSAU, was diagnosed with brain cancer last spring and has been battling since.
Fans will be able to purchase a t-shirt to wear at the tournament, with proceeds going to Lisa and her family.
Additionally, people who have been impacted by cancer will be able to purchase a volleyball to place on a wall at four host sites (TBA) to show their support for their loved one who is or has battled cancer, as well as Lisa.

Big matchup tonight as the 1A #8 GR Rebel volleyball team travels Grundy Center to take on the 2A #11 Spartans.
JV starts things off at 5:30PM. The Spartans will be honoring seniors at 7PM, so the varsity match is slated for approx. 7:30PM. Go Rebels!

Another set of volleyball power rankings published by Bound Iowa has the GR Rebels right in the middle of a solid top 5 in class 1A. The volleyball team will travel to Grundy Center on Tuesday Sept. 27th.

The JV volleyball team finished their day with a 3-2 record. The Rebels finished first in their pool after a win over Waterloo Christian. They were defeated in the semifinals by AP in 3 sets. Solid job today Rebels and keep working hard!
