Mrs. Rowe's Life Skill's class engaged in activities increasing their knowledge of soft skills. They used teamwork to unravel their "human knot" and constructed "human marble run" (where the boys decided to compete against the girls).

Kindergarteners read The Kissing Hand and found a note from the main character Chester! Chester had the kindergarteners go on a hunt around the elementary building looking for clues! We had so much fun and ended the hunt with finding Hershey kisses back in our classroom!

There was a lot of excitement in the transitional kindergarten room during Open House! The students had a chance to see our classroom turtles Big Frank and Stella. They were also able to observe our monarch caterpillar along with the monarch butterfly that had emerged from its chrysalis that morning. To top off the evening, each student was able to pick out a Pete the Cat book to keep! There were big smiles all around.
There was a misprint in the bus information that was sent out last week. School does, in fact, start on August 23rd. However, August 23rd is on Tuesday, not Monday. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at school bright and early Tuesday morning. #rebelsrising #rebelnation
