The GC-GR girls cross country team finished 7th at the @NICLConference meet. Freshman, Grace Storjohann was the team’s top individual finisher coming in at 12th place. Great work tonight ladies and way to represent at conference!

Laurel Shaver, Health Educator with Planned Parenthood, spoke to our health students yesterday about strategies to use to make responsible and informed decisions.

On a chilly and windy day, the GC-GR cross country teams will look to heat up the course. It’s the #NICL conference meet, and it’s taking place in La Porte City at the Golf & Country Club at 3PM. Both HS and JH teams will be running today. The schedule goes as follows:
JH girls: 3PM
JH boys: 3:25PM
Varsity girls: 3:50PM
Varsity boys: 4:20PM
JV girls: 4:50PM
JV boys: 5:20PM

The Rebel VB team is serving up another home match tonight as we host the Jesup J-Hawks. It’s also parents night and senior night as we honor our parents and senior players.
JV starts at 5:30PM with the varsity to follow around 7:30PM. All kids and seniors will walk with parents and be recognized before the varsity warmups begins. Come on out and support Rebel volleyball!

This Friday, Oct. 14th the Rebels with draw their regular season to a close vs Collins-Maxwell. Due to field construction at CM, the game will be played at Colo-Nesco HS in Colo. Start time is 7PM. Players will be wearing pink socks to support breast cancer awareness. Fans if they would like can join in and wear pink. Go Rebels!
