8th graders are investigating waves. Today we used slinkys to see how waves transfer energy.

7th graders are learning about the solar system. Today we made a pocket scale model of the solar system! Each one is unique because they are the height of us!

📚 Celebrating Our Instructional Coaches!

While we’re catching up on special recognitions, we can’t miss the chance to celebrate National Instructional Coaches Day — because our coaches deserve the spotlight every day!

Our instructional coaches are the bridge between teaching and learning — supporting staff, sparking new ideas, and helping every classroom grow stronger. Their guidance, collaboration, and encouragement make a lasting impact on both teachers and students.

💙 A huge thank you to Greg Tessendorf and Amanda Bonjour for all you do to inspire growth and excellence across our district!

🌟 Belated Custodian Appreciation Day 🌟

We may have missed the official day on October 2, but our appreciation for our amazing Custodial and Building & Grounds crew is year-round!

These are the people who keep our buildings shining, our grounds safe, and our spaces ready for learning every single day. Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact is seen and felt everywhere in our district.

👏 Please help us thank:
Shane Hawkins, Clint Cutknecht, Kathy Hawkins, and Craig Petersen (pictured)
and Clarinda Plaehn-Morrow and Austin Roum (not pictured)

Your dedication, pride, and care for our schools make all the difference. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙
