Rebel Nation, Wednesday August 13, will be picture day for HS fall athletics. It will also be picture day for senior banners that go up in the gym. An email has been sent to the seniors and they ALL need to be there for the pictures that day at the request of the picture company. Another reminder will be sent to seniors next week. Picture forms will be given to HS volleyball, cross country, cheer, and football participants next Monday for them to bring home and get filled out. Thank you and go Rebels!

Rebel Nation, Today marks the first day of Family Week. The Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Iowa High School Music Association, and Iowa High School Speech Association Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2025 starts today July 27th through Sunday, August 3rd. During this time frame , there will be NO activities of which include camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, etc. Activities can resume on Monday, August 4th. Mallory Wrage represented Union Community in the IGCA Senior All-Star softball games today in Waukee. Mallory's team won their first game, 4-3. What a great end to summer basketball! The girls basketball team travelled to Okoboji this week for a team camp. The girls went 3-0 on Sunday against some tough competition. They also got to spend some time enjoying the lake and the resort! #rebelnation
