Final JH bball post. We won against AGWSR 9-0, lost to DNH 2-8. Snuck a 4 game win streak in b4 our loss. Highlights include: a triple &GR8 catching by Wyatt L., all tournament team for Blake H, Owen G, & Easton F. Kids kept improving as the season went on.

Rebels fall short in the JH Baseball Tournament to D-NH 8-2. Solid day of completion and great baseball. There were three Rebels selected to the All-Tournament team: Easton Farley, Blake Harms, and Owen Giesking. Congrats! #rebelnation

Exciting update for golf academy! In addition to our amazing volunteers, current GR golfers, including state bound golfers, we will also have Kevin Trobaugh helping out. Kevin Trobaugh is a former Rebel during 2009-2012 finishing first team all state as a senior. Former collegiate golfer at North Iowa Area CC and Concordia University St. Paul winning one tournament and several top 5 finishes. Kevin has been in the golf industry for 10 years and is now a PGA Golf instructor at Des Moines Golf and Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. Kevin still stays competitive playing in Iowa PGA Section events every year. ⛳️⛳️If you want to guarantee a shirt, you need to be registered with shirt size by end of the day on June 30th. G-R JH Baseball Tournament GAME 1 G-R defeats AGWSR 9-0 with strong pitching from Blake Harms throwing a no hitter and striking out 7 batters. Even with the great pitching it took some good plays in field as well by all the Rebels along with solid hitting. The Rebels advance to the Championship game which will start between 12:15 & 12:45 vs D-NH. Don't forget to stop down and grab some Lunch. #rebelnation

Junior High Baseball Final Today! Come watch the G-R JH Baseball team at 9:00 am and 12:45 pm as they are hosting a tournament today. NO ADMISSIONS & come watch for FREE. D-NH and AGWSR are other teams competing against the REBELS. If you need something to cool off come grab a drink and a snack at the regular concessions along with the G-R Booster Club having a meal for sale, thanks to the Giesking's for their donation. Junior High Final Softball Game. Today G-R comprised of 9- 7th graders and 2- 8th graders faced off against a North Tama team that had a solid team with some 8th graders that also start on the varsity HS team for the Redhawks. From Coach Thede--> Our middle school softball team put together another strong performance, showing continued growth, determination, and teamwork from start to finish. Laney Mendenhall had a good day in the circle and on the field, leading with confidence. Kylie Presar showed tremendous toughness behind the plate. Offensively, the entire lineup contributed with strong at-bats and quality contact. Runs were scored by Kylie, Justin Mathern, Quinn Thede, Laney, and Julia Muller and as the team continued to put pressure on the defense. One of the biggest moments of the game came when Grace Bowser delivered a clutch hit that drove in the game-tying run, sparking excitement and showcasing the team's never-give-up attitude. It was a solid season and we are excited about the future. #rebelnation

JH won the 1st game 3-2 & the 2nd game 9-5 against North Tama. Highlights included a complete 5 inning game by Levi giving up 1 earned run on the mound, a 2 out RBI hit for each Hunter M, & Owen G, & a big RBI single by Rylan W. in game 2. We are home vs. S.H. 2moro @ 10am.

HS Baseball Postseason‼️ The 1A district brackets are out! The Rebels will travel to Gilman on Friday July 3rd and will play against East Marshall at 7 PM. Don Bosco will face BCLUW in the game before ours at 5 PM. Let's go Rebels! #rebelnation
