3) Tama County Cattlemen (a GReat community partner) will be grilling hamburgers Friday night!
4) Peace Church from Gladbrook (a GReat community partner) is providing $5 vouchers to be used at the concession stand!

THE XC HOMECOMING TRADITION CONTINUES!
The G-R Cross Country team is running the Homecoming Football 15.6 miles from Reinbeck to Gladbrook! They would love to have REBEL NATION cheer them on by popping in along the route to give a honk or a holler. The team plans to leave Reinbeck at 3:45 PM and arrive at the football field in Gladbrook at approximately 6:25 PM. If you see them at the Pit, be sure to give these kids a high five! The Elementary wrapped up a fun-filled Homecoming Week with an assembly featuring our seniors from all of our fall sports! 🏃🏽📣🏈🏐 Our elementary students had a blast competing against the seniors in three fun-filled challenges: 🍓 Fruit by the Foot Race 🍪 Cookie Face Race 🏈 Football Gear Relay Race A big thank you to our seniors for spending time with our elementary students and helping make Homecoming Week so much fun! The 2026 NICL Tournament bracket is officially set! Action gets underway next Tuesday October 6th for night 1 of the tournament. Night 2 will be Thursday October 8th with matchups and sites TBD.

*Admission -- NICL Passes are accepted, but Host School Passes are not as this is an NICL Sanctioned Event.

We need 3 more volunteers to work with the GReat people from LSB.

The main fundraiser for the GR Fine Arts Boosters is the profits from the football concession stand and one of the main activities we support is the music trip every four years. The next trip is March 2027!

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - This qualifies as volunteer hours for your Silver Cord.

We encourage students to help in the concession stand. All students 6th grade and below need to have an adult (parent, etc) volunteering, too.
